Known as the “Friendly Seaway”, Cornwall is home to many kind and generous individuals. We, at the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation are privy to such examples of generosity on a daily basis. A glowing example of community dedication occurred during our Capital Campaign where our community at large rallied together to ensure adequate funding for our new hospital. Now that the redevelopment project has begun, the Hospital Foundation is responsible for funding new medical equipment. Having previously donated to the Capital Campaign, Fred Waltho understands the importance of supporting the Foundation’s equipment appeal, which is why he has recently donated $5,000 towards two new beds for our Hospital. A quiet, generous and loyal man, Fred Waltho is a true representation of community support at work. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you Fred.
The Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation is committed to raising funds for much-needed hospital equipment. This continuous appeal will allow the Foundation to fulfill its mission of providing quality health care for the residents of our community.
Cornwall Community Hospital is a 170-bed acute care hospital operating on two sites in the city of Cornwall, located in Eastern Ontario along the St. Lawrence River. In 2006, the Canadian Council of Health Services Accreditation accredited Cornwall Community Hospital.
