With a central unit supported by all Ontario Barbershop Choruses, the Harmonize for Speech Fund has generously supported our Foundation. The local representative group is known as the C-Way Sound Barbershop Chorus which consists of members from Cornwall, North Stormont & South Glengarry. Together, they have raised funds for Harmonize for Speech and have requested support for our local hospital. Their motto is “We Sing That They May Speak” and therefore have chosen to support the Hospital Speech & Language Pathology department. Currently the Department requires a new assistive device to help adult patients speak because they have lost the use their larynx or are unable to speak due to a stroke. We’re pleased to announce that the funds donated by C-Way Sound will help with the purchase of a new electrolarynx and voice output communication device for the Speech & Language Pathology Department. Thank you very much C-Way Sound for your continued support.
