Dreams Do Come True
Dreams Do Come True is an annual "wine and cheese" event held each year in December. Over 100 people celebrate the end of the year with wine, entertainment and good fellowship. Door prizes and a silent auction add to the excitement of the event. All proceeds from this fundraising event will be donated to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation.
The concept was created by Mrs. Sherry Burke and the inaugural event was held in 2005. It was a rousing success. To date Dreams Do Come True has raised almost $120,000 for the foundation:
- 2005: $36,500.00
- 2006: $33,823.68
- 2007: $50,632.00
The event will be held again in 2008.
