Gail and Tom Kaneb Campaign Co-Chairs

We are delighted to be leading the Our Hospital, Our Future Campaign. We accepted the role of Campaign Co-Chairs for several reasons.

First, we believe that the redevelopment of the hospital is the single most important project that this community will undertake for the foreseeable future. Our economic development depends on it; our ability to retain and recruit doctors depends on it; and having a first-rate, modern facility in our area depends on it.

Second, it gives us the opportunity to say thank you to the wonderful medical staff in our community. We, along with our family and friends, have benefited for many years from the care delivered by our community's incredibly dedicated and skilled doctors, nurses and hospital staff. Leading this campaign gives us the chance to demonstrate to the medical community how much we appreciate their dedication and commitment.

And finally, Cornwall and the surrounding communities have been good to us and to our families and this campaign gives us the chance to give back to the community.

We have been overwhelmed by the community's generosity, both in terms of time and financial contributions. It is gratifying to know that others feel as strongly as we do about the need to improve our health care facilities, both to better support our medical professionals and to create a hospital that will serve our families' healthcare needs for many years to come.
