Types of Donations
The Foundation appreciates receiving donations of any amount. There are several ways to donate. No matter the manner in which you choose to give, your donation will help the Cornwall Community Hospital buy equipment and services to improve medical care in the region. Anyone who makes a gift over $15 will receive a receipt for income tax purposes.
Donations in person
Drop into the Foundation's office. Whether you want to support a particular campaign or thank the hospital for the care it provided you or your loved one, you can give cash, or give by money order, cheque, or credit card.
In Memoriam
You can donate in the memory of a deceased loved one by coming in person to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation office located at the McConnell Avenue site, 840 McConnell Avenue, Cornwall. You can also request that gifts be donated in lieu of flowers at your loved one's viewing. The funeral home of your choice can assist you to ensure your wishes are followed.
Bequests
The Foundation is a registered charitable organization. You may wish to include the Foundation as a benefactor in your will or name it as beneficiary of a life insurance policy you possess.
Participation
Fundraising activities and events are often organized by the Foundation or other groups to raise money for the Hospital. Community participation ensures their success. So join us, enjoy yourself and be generous… with your money and your time!
